Re: COVID-19 and On-going Business Operations

As a valued customer of TIPPER TIE, we would like to inform you of the actions and preventive measures we have put into place in order to manage both our business and our important customer relationships through the rising safety and logistical challenges presented by the spread of the COVID-19 virus.  

TIPPER TIE remains open for business and focused on the needs of our customers, making every effort to continue to deliver and support our products to the extent it is legally permitted and safe for both our customers’ and our own employees.

We are observing U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and local government recommended protocols regarding travel, self-quarantines, and managing access to our facilities in order to support worldwide efforts to contain the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

TIPPER TIE is communicating frequently with employees to provide guidance on what they can do to minimize their risk of infection, how to recognize symptoms of an infection, and what to do if they suspect they may be infected.  Where it is deemed appropriate and/or necessary, we are also providing employees with the flexibility to follow medical advice, self-quarantine, and work remotely to responsibly manage the risk of spreading the infection to others.

TIPPER TIE has implemented a work from home risk mitigation strategy for all office employees who can work from home enabling us to reduce the risk to our consumables, machines and parts, and assembly production personnel. They will be connected through our normal phone tree and have access to our system just like if they were in the office. Our focus is to minimize the disruption to our production as much as possible while safeguarding the health of our employees.

We have implemented additional strategic measures with our supply chain in order to mitigate for expected shortages and/or delivery delays of key components and supplies.  We also want to inform you of several key items as we work together to meet our business demands while managing increasing risk:

  1. Technical support – we have expanded our capacity for remote technical phone support so you will have increased access to Service Techs who can assist your onsite maintenance team with troubleshooting and diagnosing issues.   2. Consumables and Spare Parts – we are still fully equipped to dispatch both stock and manufactured parts, but delivery times will be subject to any shipping delays outside of our control.   3. Travel Delays – we appreciate your understanding of and cooperation with working around any travel delays or restrictions resulting from containment actions taken by airports and/or other modes of transportation, we have Application, Technical, and Sales staff located around the USA to mitigate the need for air travel.
